Our history

At Park Packing, we take great pride in owning and running a business that has been in our family for three generations. Unlike mega stores, we are devoted to continuing our family tradition of personal service and exceptional quality, by sharing our many years of experience and expertise with our customers. We guarantee that only the best pork, beef, poultry and freshest seafood will end up on your table. From our store to your plate, we hope to share the rich traditions of our family, with yours.

At Park Packing, we are proud to be known as one of three remaining slaughterhouses, in the Chicago-land area. From the Civil War, until the 1920’s, the Chicago stockyards was known as the country’s largest meat-packing center, and acknowledged as the headquarters of the industry. Presently, the City of Chicago has granted three permits to local slaughterhouse facilities that meet the strict industry standards of operation, and we are proud to be one of them. We are honored to be a part of this great Chicago tradition.
